My Story

I decided to try the Collagen UK gift set. The set contained a facial toner, facial exfoliator, day and night regenerating creams, and platinum natural collagen. The product that really caught my attention was the day and night creams. Most high street creams don't provide the level of moisturisation I feel my skin needs. This usually means I am over applying the cream and getting through it alot quicker than I would like. The Collagen UK day and night regeneration creams were in a league of their own. My skin was hydrated instantly without over application, my husband even decided to give it a try and although he won't forgive me for sharing this he loved the creams as well.

The Highlight

Although the day and night creams did exactly what they said the facial toner exceeded all of my expectations. I have always associated toners with drying the skin and leaving it feeling very tight and restrictive. Therefore when applying Collagen UK's toner I was slightly hesitant. The toner actually did the exact opposite to what I am used to, instant hydration without any tight restrictive feeling. After applying the natural collagen your skin tightens as the protein net prepares itself for hydration. If you apply the toner straight after this process it eliminates the tight feeling leaving your skin feeling fresh and healthy.

Allison's Advice

First of all I would definately recommend Collagen UK's products to anyone interested in skin care. As I previously mentioned I have had trouble finding a facial cream that properly hydrates my skin, with the day and night regeneration creams I believe I have found a cream I can stick with. In my experience I find alot of younger women tend to shy away from heavy, thick facial creams - therefore I would recommend the toner as an alternative as it is not as thick but seems to provide the same hydration as the creams. I imagine it would be alot lighter for younger, more sensitive skin.
